It was quite sunny, but Virginia Crossings had a perfect brick portico to use for first looks with both dad and Travis. With English gardens and Colonial Architecture, you can’t go wrong with choosing the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference center for a wedding or event.
Alisha and Travis held their ceremony in the middle of the property, with a gorgeous trellis in the background. Our timelines were tight and portrait time was limited – my favorite images of the day ended up being from FIVE minutes we stepped outside during the reception.
This first image below is from that series (as well as a few more!) – planning to set aside time for sunset portraits is ALWAYS worth it, especially in this case when we didn’t have portrait time earlier in the day. We can create such magical images with just a few minutes of time if we’re in a bind. Things happen, right?!
Are you planning a Virginia Crossings wedding or a wedding in the Richmond or Williamsburg, Virginia area? If so, I’d love to connect!
