What an unforgettable evening at Saudi Creek Vineyards in Lenexa!  This was my first time at the venue as well as my first time attending a Bat Mitzvah – both of which were incredible!  If you’re planning an event or wedding at Saude Creek Vineyards, it’s a fantastic location, especially at sunset!!

As soon as I drove into Saudi Creek Vineyards, I was captivated by the beautiful location.  The vineyards are so picturesque, especially as the sun lowers in the sky in the evening hours.  Arris Hall is the newest addition to the property, with amazing views of the vines, river and treetops for you to enjoy during your event.  It holds up to 150 guests and is the perfect location for a wedding reception. It’s a private event space tucked away from the winery’s guests.

Arris Hall is where Shaiah’s Bat Mitzvah was held – with an outdoor ceremony under a gazebo, followed by dinner and dancing inside Arris Hall at Saude Creek Vineyards. If you’re like me before booking photography for this event, you may be wondering what a Bat Mitzvah is (I immediately wondered why “Bat” instead of “Bar” also!).

A Bat Mitzvah is a celebration of heritage, faith and a girl’s journey into adulthood.  I found Shaiah’s Bat Mitzvah to be very special in the readings and testimonies shared and she comes from a family that believes in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. It was very touching to hear her share the influence her faith has had in her life as well the impact of her mom and dad. Her parents shared as well – their love truly radiated in the words they shared as well as the hospitality they shared with all of their friends and family in attendance.

My favorite photos of the evening ended up being out by the gazebo as the sun was setting. Nothing compares to the beauty of the sun and nature, and Saudi Creek Vineyards has a fantastic view!
