Tracey and Krunal’s wedding day was absolutely perfect! They decided they wanted to have an intimate Indian wedding in Williamsburg, VA – mixing their two cultures with a short ceremony on Jamestown Beach with their closest friends and family. Krunal’s family is in India, so they live streamed the ceremony for them to see.

The weather turned out to be PERFECT, complete with the glow-y golden hour light over the water. Jamestown Beach truly is a wonderful location for a photo session or small intimate wedding, especially in the fall or spring when it’s not very crowded (unless you like sunbathing beach goers in the background during the summertime!).

Because Tracey and Krunal had not been able to take engagement photos, we started in a different outfit so we could capture images of them together on the beach and dock. Tracey’s skirt colors just perfect matched the foliage from the surrounding trees. I just LOVE the way they look at each other with such love and excitement for their future. <3

After our quick engagement mini-session, Tracey changed into a navy blue dress. She had her hands painted with traditional Indian henna, and Krunal’s family had sent a wedding shawl to use in the ceremony. Krunal is an international student at William & Mary – his WM friends came early to set up the ceremony location for them. They did such an amazing job decorating and making the space beautiful!

Tracey’s parents were able to to make the ceremony, and I was so excited to capture the look on their faces as their daughter said her vows. It truly was a special moment! After the ceremony, we were able to head down to the water to capture a few more images of Krunal and Tracey (as husband and wife!) with the breath taking sky and James River behind them. Congratulations!!
