Andrew and Elle are MARRIED, and I cannot say enough about how elegant their day was! Williamsburg Inn Weddings truly are so regal, and Elle and Andrew worked with an amazing vendor team to bring their wedding day vision to life.
During their engagement session, I loved getting to know the couple and learning about their love for history. So many of the wedding details exemplified that – starting with the most AH-MAZING invitations made by Patrice Papier. Elle’s ring is stunning alone, but photographing it along with so many other beautiful details was such fun for me to start off the day! I loved the bold color as well!
On wedding days, I get to spend time with the bride getting ready as well as with the groom – it’s always so special for me to be there as they open special gifts and share some of the small details they’ve chosen for their day. Elle’s bridesmaids even had a special gift for her to start the day, and Andrew had custom cuff links for his groomsmen <3.
It was the perfect fall weather for outdoor portraits and a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the Oval Garden. All of the venue options with Colonial Williamsburg Resorts are breathtaking, but Williamsburg Inn Weddings are just totally above the rest. Immediately following the ceremony, the couple was picked up by a horse and carriage for a ride in Colonial Williamsburg.
I always joke that when we go on the carriage ride (yes, I’m usually the plus one so we can take photos :)), they will end up on someone’s TikTok or Insta Story as they stroll through DoG Street. This time, Elle ended up having a group of high school senior girls surround her with excitement wanting to take photos with the regal bride and to see her stunning ring!
After we returned to the Inn, the couple joined cocktail hour and the Fife & Drum led everyone to the reception in the Regency Room. The amazing planner, Lauren Donnally, did an amazing job making sure the entire day went well from beginning to end!
If you’re planning a wedding, Williamsburg Inn Weddings truly are magical! For the history buffs or just the lovers of all things regal and beautiful (cause you should be a queen on your wedding day!), I highly recommend planning your wedding here!
