There are so many amazing things to do in this amazing town as you plan your Williamsburg vacation – Jamestown, Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, visiting beaches, biking the Capital Trail… the list truly goes on and on (I know, I’m biased, but I think Williamsburg is amazing)!  If your family has all traveled to be together for an unforgettable vacation together at your favorite Williamsburg resort or timeshare, why not also use the time to get updated photographs with your adult siblings, their families and your parents?!

Jennifer contacted me looking for a photographer while they were on their Williamsburg vacation. What a cool idea to book a family photo session while on vacation, especially when they are not always together like this! Jennifer and her family members were staying at the gorgeous Governor’s Green Resort – we had a great time walking around the property and capturing their family just nearby where they were staying. The gazebo by the water was by far my favorite location, and we ended there right at golden hour.

You wouldn’t know it, but some of these were even taken by the parking lot of the resort apartments.  You can capture such amazing images in Williamsburg, pretty much anywhere!!  What a beautiful family and a privilege to capture these memories! :). How can you make your extended family session be a part of vacation? Perhaps plan an ice cream outing afterwards for the kids or hire a sitter through your resort to do a move night with the kids so you can enjoy a date night (you’re already dressed up and ready, right?).
