Jason and Wei’s Intimate Wren Building Wedding at W&M
I am so excited for Jason and Wei! As a William and Mary grad myself, the Wren Chapel has such a special place in my heart. <3 What a gorgeous wedding venue! I was so honored to be a part of their special day with their closest friends and family from around the world.
Jason and Wei wanted an intimate ceremony inside the Chapel with ample time to take photographs to remember their day. The weather was wonderful, and we were able to catch the gorgeous glow of the sun through the trees in the Wren courtyard. The iconic steps in front of the Wren portico were damaged, and we moved a few construction cones in order to get that iconic Wren Building photo that every alum envisions (sorry, we put them back!).
The Great Hall was empty after the ceremony, and we had a fun time exploring in there and trying photos in front of the round windows. Wei is such a beautiful bride, and the architecture of the historical Wren Building highlighted that even more. I loved that we had time to laugh and take pictures in so many different locations.
Jason and Wei are planning a bigger reception and celebration of their wedding at the Williamsburg Inn in the future. Until then, I hope you enjoy these picture from their William & Mary Wren Building wedding!
Congratulations, Jason and Wei!
Are you planning a William and Mary Wren Building wedding in the Wren Chapel or Great Hall? If so, I’d love to connect! I am a W&M alum, and the College holds a special place in my heart. With the beauty of the campus and the historical architecture, what better place to say your vows in front of your friends and family?
