When Liv reached out about photographing their destination wedding at the Williamsburg Inn, I was so excited to be a part of their special day! Even via the phone, Liv just radiates joy. She is truly such a beautiful bride!
Liv and Anthony decided to do a shorter time for photography, so I arrived for the ceremony and stayed just after the reception began. We had some time together post-ceremony for portraits during cocktail hour. We lucked out with a cool evening (especially considering it was the end of May) and great weather – Liv and Anthony, along with their guests, were able to enjoy dancing on the Queen’s Terrace and enjoy the beauty of Colonial Williamsburg Resorts‘ Williamsburg Inn.
If you’re planning a destination wedding at the Williamsburg Inn, I 100% recommend reaching out to Yuani and her staff. She will work with you to be sure that your remote planning goes well and that you have your dream wedding day. The Williamsburg Inn offers packages for both small and large weddings, with the option to add on a horse and carriage or Colonial Williamsburg’s Fife & Drum.
Your guests may book rooms in the historic Williamsburg Inn or across the street (in walking distance) at the Williamsburg Lodge. My favorite part about staying in Colonial Williamsburg Resorts is how close your guests will be to take a sunset stroll down Duke of Gloucester Street while they are in town. Many wedding guests for destination weddings at the Williamsburg Inn choose to make it a family vacation or romantic getaway. There are amazing restaurants nearby as well!
