Christmas minis are so much fun!  When I first started my photography business a few years ago, mini sessions are how I started to learn and grow (along with even giving out free sessions to friends).  My friend Kristin (totally a tangent, but she’s AMAZING and so supportive as I grow) has a big backyard and allowed me to set up in the shade way back when I did minis for the first time.  Her house as now become the spot for minis of our friends and their families.

This year, my friend Brooke gave me a fun tent to add to the backdrop.  We added in a little Christmas decor from our homes, and voila!  All we needed were a few cute faces and beautiful families.

While I am not sure I will continue to do mini sessions in the future with props (we all have our areas where we excel and where we don’t), I loved experimenting a little with the tent and decor.

Thank you so much to each family who came by – I may not be able to post all of your images, but I’m excited to think about all of the Christmas cards and grandparents gifts your images will be on soon.
