Sam and Eric say, “I do” in the Oval Garden at their Williamsburg Inn Elopement
Congratulations, Sam and Eric!
When Sam contacted me about eloping in Colonial Williamsburg, I knew it was going to be absolutely gorgeous. You canNOT go wrong with any spot in CW, especially the gardens with Colonial Williamsburg Resorts and the Williamsburg Inn or Lodge.
Covid has changed the world in way too many ways to write about in a blog. But the wedding industry is definitely one of the ones that has changed big time recently. Many couples have chosen to elope or hold very small intimate weddings instead of having a huge ceremony.
While this does save on costs, the one area most couples are continuing to invest is in photography. Whether you have one guest or one hundred, your photos will be what you come back to each anniversary – posting them on Instagram, Facebook… looking at the beautiful canvas of you and your spouse over the fireplace in your living room.
I am SO thankful for the couples who have trusted me with the HUGE responsibility of capturing their memories. I do not take this lightly and know that these images may be the only glimpse some of their family members have from the couple’s wedding day given Covid and travel restrictions.
The Oval Garden outside the Williamsburg Inn is such a perfect, almost secret, spot to many. Sam and Eric are moving out of state for Eric’s job, and I was so honored to be a part of such a special moment for them in Williamsburg before they left. <3
As usual, Lindsey Codekas created a work of art with Sam’s bouquet and Yuani and her team planned a wonderful ceremony. I hope you enjoy these images, and congratulations again to Sam and Eric!
