Sara and Jared’s Kingsmill Resort Wedding in Williamsburg, VA

What a beautiful wedding day! Jared and his friends started the day with a round of golf while Sara and the ladies had their hair and makeup professionally done. When we drove up, we were so excited to see the golf cart decorated in pink florals for their special day. When you plan a Kingsmill Resort Wedding, this is a fun add-on to have your own personal cart for quick transportation.

Sara chose to do two first looks, one with her dad and one with Jared. We found a shady spot down by the water, and BOTH men were brought tears when they saw beautiful Sara in her wedding dress. First looks are so much fun, and I am so excited for them to re-live these memories for years to come through the photos.

So many parts of the resort are picturesque, but we just loved waiting until golden hour (right before sunset) to take portraits of Sara and Jared. Some of my favorite images of the day ended up being down at the marina and on one of the golf putting greens. There is something magical about water and the sun that you just can’t explain. Sara and Jared were truly glowing after their Kingsmill Resort Wedding.

When Sara was searching for a venue for their wedding day, she just loved the ballroom and how you could see the water and sun set through the wall of windows. They held their reception inside with the dessert table overlooking the water. Their family and friends had such a fun time celebrating them and dancing the night away!
