Emily and Chinua’s Williamsburg Courthouse and William & Mary Elopement

I am so excited for Emily and Chinua!  Despite not being able to have a huge ceremony and reception in the midst of the Covid pandemic, their wedding day truly was exactly as they pictured – saying, “I do” to each other and entering into their forever.  Emily and Chinua spent EIGHT years commuting across the country in a long distance relationship – WOW!  What a celebration for them to finally be together, teaching at the same university as husband and wife!

They are both professors at the College of William and Mary, so of course it was so perfect to first take photos around the William and Mary college campus.  The flowers were blooming on the crepe myrtles and the willow tree was just breathtaking this time of year!  The iconic Crim Dell bridge is always beautiful with a bride and groom walking across too!

Emily’s earrings were made of Sri Lankan moonstone (how cool!) and I just loved her shoes.  She is a BEAUTIFUL bride with a bold red rose bouquet. 🙂

Emily and Chinua’s ceremony took place outdoors in the courtyard of the Williamsburg Court House- I was so honored to witness their special day. We had a fun time being creative in the parking lot – finding a cool brick partition with blooming florals (who would have thought our cars were parked right behind there!).

Their wedding was also featured online here!

After you finish checking out the images below, let’s connect and begin planning your William & Mary elopement or intimate wedding next! <3
