Hannah & Mike’s Classic Church Celebration
Some wedding styles will always be beautiful.
A traditional church ceremony. Classic navy dresses. White florals. An elegant reception surrounded by the people you love.
Hannah and Mike’s Williamsburg Inn wedding brought all of those timeless details together so beautifully. They began their marriage with a meaningful ceremony inside the beautiful sanctuary at St. Olaf Catholic Church before heading to the Williamsburg Inn to celebrate with family and friends.
The entire day felt classic, joyful, and completely timeless.

A Traditional Church Wedding at St. Olaf
There is something so special about a traditional church wedding.
Hannah and Mike chose St. Olaf Catholic Church in Williamsburg for their ceremony, and the sanctuary provided such a beautiful setting for this part of their day.
Church ceremonies naturally have a sense of reverence and tradition that I love photographing. There are the quiet moments before the ceremony begins, the walk down the aisle, family and friends filling the pews, and then the joy of walking back down that same aisle together for the first time as husband and wife.
The beautiful sanctuary at St. Olaf made a wonderful backdrop for Hannah and Mike’s ceremony and gave their wedding day a meaningful beginning before everyone continued the celebration at the Williamsburg Inn.

Classic Navy and White Wedding Details
Hannah and Mike chose a color palette that I don’t think will ever go out of style.
The ladies wore classic navy dresses paired with beautiful white florals. The combination was simple, elegant, and photographed beautifully.
I especially love wedding details like these because they don’t compete for attention. Instead, they complement the people and the setting.
Years from now, I think Hannah and Mike will be able to look back at these photographs and still love every bit of it.

From the Church to the Williamsburg Inn
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Williamsburg Inn.
I photograph at the Inn often, and it remains one of my favorite Williamsburg wedding venues for couples who love a classic, elegant style. It feels special from the moment you arrive, and its beautiful architecture and grounds give us so many options for wedding portraits without having to travel far from the reception.
For Hannah and Mike, it was also such a natural transition from their traditional church ceremony. The two locations complemented each other beautifully and gave the entire wedding a timeless feel from beginning to end.

An Elegant Williamsburg Inn Reception
The reception brought everyone together to celebrate, and the Williamsburg Inn was the perfect setting.
One of the things I love about an elegant wedding isn’t necessarily elaborate décor or over-the-top details. It’s when everything feels cohesive.
For Hannah and Mike, the navy dresses, white florals, church ceremony, and classic Williamsburg Inn reception all felt like they belonged together.
Nothing needed to be trendy to be beautiful.
The result was a wedding that felt sophisticated without losing its warmth—and a celebration centered on Hannah and Mike and the people who came to celebrate their marriage.
A Classic Williamsburg Wedding
Hannah and Mike’s day was such a beautiful example of why traditional weddings never really go out of style.
A beautiful church sanctuary.
Navy dresses and white flowers.
An elegant reception at one of Williamsburg’s most iconic venues.
And most importantly, a couple surrounded by family and friends as they began their marriage.
If you’re planning a Williamsburg Inn wedding or a traditional church wedding in Williamsburg, I’d love to help you create photographs that capture both the beautiful details you’ve chosen and all of the meaningful moments happening in between.
