Elopements are SO fun!  I just love getting to spend extra time with couples before or after their elopements for intimate portraits.  Colonial Williamsburg is GORGEOUS, and eloping in CW or anywhere is Williamsburg is so picturesque.  The great thing about an elopement is that you have lots of freedom to decide on portrait times and locations – most officiants will come to you with mobile services.  Elizabeth reached out to me and wanted to elope in Williamsburg, VA – at the Regional Library of all places!  She visits the library frequently and loves the arches and area outside.  

Elizabeth had a friend help set up a small aisle and some decor for the ceremony while I met her and Cabin in Colonial Williamsburg for some portraits.  We took a few photos walking over to the library, and I was so honored to witness their ceremony.  Of all days, there happened to be a concert just outside the library, so they eloped to the sound of the lovely music as the sun lowered in the sky.

It was a beautiful elopement with lots of laughter – their love for each other RADIATED in their smiles as you can see!  Many think that elopements can’t have fun details, florals and amazing images – I think this shows that even if you have a super short ceremony, you can still have amazing images that you’ll cherish for years to come.   The last one of Elizabeth and Cabin is my FAVE!
