What a beautiful evening to celebrate Britt and Wil! Zeko (my husband) and I were so blessed to be a part of such a special day – the weather was perfect, and the company was even better. When Britt contacted me about her Carlton Farms Wedding, I was so excited as we had never photographed a wedding there before. I grew up in the country with horses across the street, and the venue sounded like so much fun!
One of my favorite things I’m learning as I photograph weddings is how important the relationship is between you and your photographer. I arrived at Britt’s Carlton Farms wedding as her photographer, but I truly felt as though I left as her friend. We spend so much time together on your wedding day, and we truly love to be there to celebrate WITH you as we capture each special moment.
I think you will agree that Britt and Wil’s portraits turned out AH-MAZING as we waited to take them until golden hour. The sunlight was glistening through the trees, and the lighting was just perfect. Many times, your wedding day schedule will be hectic and we take a lot of your photos at 2pm or times when we just have to find shade due to the intense sun; but it is always worth it to sneak away for bride and groom portraits before sunset.
If you’re thinking of planning a wedding at Carlton Farms, I’d love to connect! As you can see below, it’s such a fun venue and place to celebrate with your family and friends. Britt and Wil had personalized corn hole for their guests to play, donuts (yum!) and a relaxed vibe outdoors for family and friends to enjoy special time together in celebration.
